This report surveys the legal guidelines of eight democratic foreign jurisdictions with respect as to if there are special laws regarding children asylum-seekers, particularly unaccompanied children. As discussed more totally in the jurisdictional surveys, all of the jurisdictions coated in this report have provisions treating asylum-seeking minors in another way from asylum-seeking adults.
