Legal Aid Post

Legal Aid Post, or commonly abbreviated as Posbakum, is a service established by and available at every court of the first level to provide legal services in the form of information, consultation and legal advice, as well as making legal documents required in accordance with the laws and regulations governing law Judicial Authority, General Courts, Religious Courts and State Administrative Courts. In each court the Posbakum Court is formed. The organizers of the provision of legal services for the poor at court are the Head of the Court, Registrar / Secretary, Court Posbakum Officers and other relevant Court staff. Posbakum is intended for any person or group of people who are economically incapable and / or do not have access to legal information and consultations who require services in the form of providing information, consultation, legal advice, or assistance in making the required legal documents, can receive services at the Posbakum Court .

That person is the plaintiff / applicant; the defendant / respondent; defendant; or witness. Submission of Posbakum by attaching the following documents: Certificate of Disability issued by the Village Head / Regional Head at the same level stating that it is true that the person concerned is unable to pay the court fee, or other Social Benefits Certificate such as the Poor Family Card, Community Health Insurance Card (Jamkesmas ), Poor Rice Card, Family Hope Program Card, Direct Cash Assistance Card, Social Protection Card, or other documents related to the list of the poor in the government unified database or issued by other agencies authorized to provide information about incapacity, or A statement letter of unable to pay for the services of an advocate made and signed by the Court Posbakum Service Applicant and approved by the Court Posbakum Officer, if the Court Service Applicant does not have the documents as referred to in letter a or b.
